Patient Services Associate

Vision Source Oviedo is looking for career minded individuals to join our team!

Our Patient Services Associates acquire long-term quality patients for the company by providing exceptional service through the execution of our orchestrated patient experience. Core patient experience touch points include patient communication through phones, text, email, mail, and faxes.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Answering the Phone / Making Appointments.
  • Verifying Insurances.
  • Managing communication: email, fax, and text system.
  • Ensuring a positive patient experience.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Answer the phone - Making appointments, answering questions, directing messages / tasks.
  • Process voicemail, email, text, mail, and faxes.
  • Prepare the patient’s chart with updated demographic and insurance information.
  • Make sure patients are aware of all co-pays and fees for the eye care or medical services .
  • Train on a continuous basis.
