<Responsibilities>

• Safely transport patients to and from various hospital departments, including emergency, radiology, surgery, and inpatient units
• Assist patients with mobility needs, including transfers from beds to stretchers or wheelchairs, while maintaining patient dignity and comfort
• Follow established safety protocols and infection control procedures during all transport activities
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient movement and relay important information
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and carts
• Document patient transport details accurately in hospital records and logs
• Respond promptly to urgent transport requests, especially in critical care situations

<Skills>

• Prior experience in home or community care settings is highly desirable, demonstrating compassion and familiarity with patient needs
• Strong understanding of patient care principles, including respecting privacy and providing comfort during transfers
• Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience enhances your ability to navigate complex environments efficiently
