Job Summary
As a member of Cash Station Pawn, you will play a vital role in our retail environment by providing exceptional customer service and facilitating transactions involving the buying, selling, and pawning of various items. You will be responsible for assessing the value of items brought in by customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be essential in driving sales and fostering loyalty.

Duties

• Evaluate and appraise items brought in by customers for pawn or sale, ensuring accurate pricing based on market trends.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, guiding them through the buying and selling process.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of items available for sale.
• Maintain an organized inventory system using POS software to track sales and manage stock levels.
• Utilize retail math skills to calculate loan amounts, interest rates, and payment plans for pawns.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance store performance.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding pawn transactions and maintain a secure environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Basic knowledge of retail math to assist in pricing items accurately.
• Ability to perform product demos that engage customers and highlight product features.
• A keen eye for detail when assessing the value of various items is essential.
