Payable Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payable Accountant to manage and process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate financial records for our supermarket operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices and purchase orders.
• Ensure accurate recording of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process supplier payments (cheques, bank transfers, etc.).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and payment records.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to verify goods received.
• Prepare monthly accounts payable reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
• Assist with audit requirements and financial reporting when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
