Payment Posting [Medical Billing]

Key Responsibilities :

• Enter insurance and patient payments (EOBs, EFTs, and checks) into the system.
• Balance posted payments and address any variances or issues.
• Handle adjustments, denials, write-offs, and refund transactions.
• Coordinate with the billing and accounts receivable teams for smooth workflow.
• Keep detailed and accurate records while following HIPAA compliance guidelines.

Requirements (Reworded):

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing or payment posting.
• Knowledge of EOBs, ERAs, and commonly used billing systems.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and good organizational abilities.
