Payments Operations Analyst (Entry-Level, Korean Bilingual)

About the Role:

We are seeking a bilingual Korean/English Entry-Level Payments Operations Analyst to join our growing fintech team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals (0-3 years of experience) who are interested in banking operations, financial transactions, cross-boarder payments, and fintech.

This position offers structured training and hands-on experience to US and Canadian payment systems. It is an excellent opportunity to build foundational experience in payments processing, transaction monitoring, and financial operations with a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibility:

Payment Operations Support

  • Support daily U.S. ACH and Canadian Interac transaction processing, including settlement tracking, reconciliation, and basic compliance tasks.
  • Monitor transaction flows and assist in resolving failed or exception transactions (including ACH return codes), escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with chargebacks, collections, refunds, and payout processing.
  • Coordinate with banking partners, processors, and vendors to resolve operational issues and ensure timely and accurate payment execution.
  • Support transaction monitoring and risk review processes in alignment with internal controls.

Operational Monitoring & Process Improvement

  • Monitor system alerts and operational reports to ensure daily payment processing runs smoothly.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving operational documentation, workflows, and internal procedures.
  • Support internal policy management and cross-functional coordination.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and gain exposure to fintech and payments industry best practices.
  • Work with Excel-based reports and operational data to identify discrepancies or trends.

B2B Client Management & Support

  • Support onboarding and transaction execution for B2B clients.
  • Monitor client payment activity for accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to internal and client inquiries related to transactions and operational matters.
  • Share observations and feedback with internal teams to improve efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Korean and English bilingual proficiency (한국어 및 영어 가능자).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills.

Preferred

  • 0–3 years of experience in payments, banking operations, finance, or client support.
  • Internship experience in financial services, fintech, or operations.
  • Basic understanding of ACH, payment processing, reconciliation, or transaction monitoring.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and operational data.

Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
