Earn $115k/year to start plus benefits with Danbee Investigations, one of the most respected names in the entire security industry. We have a position for a candidate who has a background in accounting and an interest in learning how to do investigative work.

The position requires accounting experience, good communication skills, a valid driver’s license, proficiency in business software and the ability to implement and use new technology.

Objective:

Investigating possible theft, fraud, and other irregularities.

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Collecting time sheet data and payroll information
• Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs
• Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
• Preparing and distributing income statements
• Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns
• Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations

· Process client requisitions, invoices, and purchase orders

· General Ledger and Financial Reporting:

o Enter journal entries and maintain organized records

o Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts, including bank, credit card and petty cash accounts

o Maintain up to date and accurate accounting files and documentation

• Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes

Skills and qualifications:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· Preferred 3-5 years’ accounting experience

· Creating in-depth investigative reports on a daily basis

· Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
