Remote Senior Bookkeeper (Full-Time to Part-Time)

· Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities

· Processing multi-state payroll

· Accounts payable & receivable management

· Bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations

· Reviewing and mentoring junior bookkeepers

· Using project management tools to track and deliver client work

· Onboarding & training new clients on software and processes

· Preparing financial statements & supporting accounting schedules (prepaids, accruals, etc.)

· Managing client relationships with professionalism and proactive communication

· Assisting with cleanup projects, migrations, and other special accounting initiatives

What You Bring

· 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero (Desktop migration experience a plus)

· Proven ability to manage multiple companies simultaneously; 10 – 15 companies at minimum.

· 3+ years of multi-state payroll

· 2+ years multi-state sales tax returns

· Strong knowledge of accrual accounting

· Detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives working independently in a remote environment

· Experience with SaaS, Medical, Spas, or Franchise businesses a plus

· A proactive mindset and eagerness to grow into an Accounting Manager role
