Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role ensures payroll records are maintained in compliance with payroll laws, internal policies, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Payroll Administrator also serves as a knowledgeable and confidential resource for employees and managers regarding payroll procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred. A minimum of two years of payroll administration experience required, preferably within an organization that includes unionized employees. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities will also be considered.
Qualifications:
Work Days: Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work required to ensure timely payroll processing around holiday periods
