Job Responsibilities:

  • Pays employees by calculating pay and deductions and issuing weekly settlements.
  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the payroll system, as well as retrieving data when necessary.
  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
  • Helps administrate employee benefit programs
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, or year-end calculations of bonuses and other salary-based compensation.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and interacting with Management.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for all payroll questions

Doug Bradley Trucking, Inc.’s Payroll Administrator position is full-time 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The position includes a full benefits package; Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Vacation, Retirement Plan, and Life Insurance. The work environment is very friendly office setting and the staff work closely with one another.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Previous payroll software experience a plus
