Become a key member of our three-person team responsible for managing the company’s HRIS, payroll, leave, benefits, and overall HR operations. As part of the larger HR function, this collaborative team plays a vital role in delivering essential HR services. Reporting to the HRIS & Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will support a variety of payroll and HR programs and processes. Responsibilities include ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining employee records, assisting with benefits and leave administration, and supporting compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of employee bi-weekly payroll, both salary and hourly.
  • Review time clock data, address missing or incorrect punches, and ensure PTO and attendance accuracy.
  • Maintain vacation/sick records, 401(k) contributions/loans, and assist with census reporting.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of various information systems as defined within the department.
  • Run pre and post payroll processes, handling issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for ensuring mandated filings and compliance are accurate and completed on time.
  • Prepare payroll reports, both routine and ad hoc.
  • Assist with benefits and leave administration.
  • Work on HRIS projects and system updates.
  • Support with general HR administration and office support.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven payroll experience with min. 5 years of experience
  • Experience within a healthcare environment, preferred
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Calm and patient demeanor, especially when handling sensitive payroll matters
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite
