Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resource Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee payroll processing, ensure accurate employee data management, and support HR functions that foster a positive and compliant workplace environment. Your expertise will help streamline payroll operations, maintain precise records, and support human resources initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Maintain and update all required employer documents and personnel files for current and past employees.
- Act as company liaison for unemployment, disability, and family leave claims.
- Track and document FMLA and other leaves to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Administer and reconcile claims and billings for medical, dental, life, and LTD insurance plans.
- Coordinate employee eligibility and enrollment in company benefits.
- Maintain documentation and communication for workers’ compensation claims.
- Support government audits and reporting related to labor and personnel.
- Oversee employee garnishments and act as Plan Administrator/Privacy Officer for HIPAA compliance.
- Monitor employee corrective actions, terminations, and conduct sexual harassment investigations as needed.
Payroll
- Prepare weekly payroll using electronic time clock systems and coordinate with outside payroll service provider.
- Maintain accuracy of employee master files and payroll data.
- Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, and expense reimbursements.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Audit payroll systems periodically to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and destroy payroll files as required by policy.
- Track hours for ACA eligibility and file annual reports.
- Post payroll journal entries and prepare workers comp summaries.
- Respond to payroll information requests from authorized agencies.
- Provide backup for accounts payable and assist with special assignments.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration.
- Proficient with MS Office; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR, labor law, benefits, and payroll practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
