```Duties```
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Assist in preparing and distributing payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information in the payroll system
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in using PeopleSoft or other HRIS systems for payroll processing preferred
- Experience with benefits administration and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to accurately analyze and reconcile accounts
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Spanish preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
