The Payroll Associate is responsible for supporting and executing payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role involves handling payroll data, verifying records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, including attendance, leave, and payroll transactions.
- Review and manage salary changes, advances, loans, and employee bank details.
- Coordinate with HR on on-boarding, off-boarding, and end-of-service benefits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, system updates, and status changes.
- Support compensation, incentives, and payroll budgeting, including variance tracking.
- Monitor leave balances, accruals, and unused vacation data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on payroll, incentives, and cost management.
- Oversee performance review processes linked to payroll actions.
- Preparation and submission of SIF files for WPS-compliant salary processing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of payroll systems and MS Excel
- Understanding of labor laws and payroll regulations (local knowledge preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
