Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate processing payroll, onboarding new employees, supporting benefits administration, and handling a variety of administrative duties. The ideal candidate will bring strong payroll knowledge, excellent accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively across HR, accounting and operations.
Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP payroll systems.
- Reconcile payroll data with accounting records, including SAP or comparable financial systems.
- Review and reconcile payroll transactions, benefits deductions, and tax filings.
- Enter and verify employee hours, deductions, benefits, and tax information with a high level of accuracy.
- Process new employee paperwork and ensure all required payroll and benefit information is entered correctly.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and related payroll adjustments.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and support compliance requirements.
- Prepare documentation and reports for tax agencies and other regulatory bodies.
- Perform general administrative duties in support of payroll, HR, and office operations.
Requirements
- Experience processing payroll using ADP or a similar system.
- Strong understanding of accounting basics, including journal entries, debits and credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Familiarity with payroll-related financial processes, benefits administration, and tax reporting.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with new hire processing and administrative support preferred.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
