Position Title: Payroll Officer
Location: Sharjah
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll procedures, labor regulations, and payroll software, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and within deadlines
  • Maintain payroll records, attendance, leave balances, overtime, and deductions
  • Calculate salaries, bonuses, commissions, and end-of-service benefits
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll updates
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Handle employee payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage bank transfer files and salary payments
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information

Requirements

Finance, Human Resources, or related field

  • 2–5 years of payroll experience preferred
  • Knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labor law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Payroll
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality
