Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll management, attendance tracking, leave management, and accounting practices, with a focus on the UAE’s payroll regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
  • Attendance Management: Maintain and update attendance records, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing and calculating overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Leave Management: Track employee leave records, including annual leave, sick leave, and other types of leave. Ensure correct leave accruals and deductions.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all UAE labor laws, including WPS (Wages Protection System) and other statutory requirements. Prepare reports as required.
  • Accounting Support: Assist in the reconciliation of payroll accounts, prepare journals, and maintain up-to-date financial records related to payroll.
  • Tax and Benefits: Calculate and manage employee benefits, deductions, and tax filings as per UAE regulations.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Payroll Management within the UAE, including attendance and leave management.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and WPS compliance.
  • Experience in accounting practices, particularly as they relate to payroll.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Relevant certifications in Payroll or Accounting would be a plus.
