Position Summary:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll for MAS. This role administers the payroll system, ensures compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, and serves as a reliable resource for payroll-related questions. The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while upholding MAS standards for confidentiality, compliance, and operational effectiveness. This position exercises independent judgment and discretion in interpreting payroll regulations, resolving complex payroll matters, and advising leadership on payroll compliance and process improvements. The Payroll Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and contributes to payroll strategy, policy development, and operational decision-making.
