Payroll Specialist

Landesign LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and processing payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable payroll regulations and union payroll requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, maintains strict confidentiality, and consistently meets deadlines with integrity and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
• Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, and employee data
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Manage payroll related to union agreements and reporting requirements
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare payroll reports for management, accounting, and regulatory purposes
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and benefit information
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Experience processing payroll using SAGE 300
• Working knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Experience with union payroll and reporting requirements
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
• Proven reliability and ability to meet critical deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior payroll experience in construction, landscaping, or similar industries
• Experience working with union and prevailing wage payroll
