Payroll Specialist – Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working with payroll systems in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, biweekly, ensuring accuracy of hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and employee data including new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll systems.
Administer payroll deductions such as benefits, retirement contributions, wage garnishments, and taxes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.
Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee information and accounting alignment.
Assist with year‑end processing, including W‑2s and required tax documents.
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
Liaison to HR Coordinator for Employee Benefits invoicing/processing
Qualifications
Experience in payroll processing or a related financial/HR role.
Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel required).
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
