Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support our growing client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working behind the scenes, and takes pride in accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple clients across various industries
• Ensure payroll accuracy, including wages, deductions, bonuses, and taxes
• Manage payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Handle new employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll-related updates
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding payroll matters
• Stay current on payroll laws and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience (multi-client or firm experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar)
• Solid understanding of payroll tax compliance and reporting requirements
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Integrity, professionalism, and alignment with COR’s values

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time (approx. 15–25 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule with defined payroll deadlines
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
