Job Summary:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high-volume payroll operations across multiple subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Manage high-volume salary processing across different subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Verify payroll data including attendance, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and finance teams.
  • Handle payroll-related transactions through government platforms such as GOSI, Mudd, and other relevant systems.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for employee data changes and payroll adjustments.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Support audits by providing required payroll documentation and reports.
  • Manage incentives and loans requests.
  • Always ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience handling payroll for multiple entities or subsidiaries. (Preferred 1-2 years)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar payroll systems.)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
