Job Title: PCB Design & Electronics Engineer

Job Overview:

Dream Realization Lab ( DRL ), Dhahran Techno Valley Holding Company , a multidisciplinary product development and innovation center, is seeking a motivated PCB Design & Electronics Engineer to help establish and grow DRL’s electronics and PCB prototyping capabilities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, fabricating, and testing advanced electronic systems, as well as supporting training, research, and industrial collaboration in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-speed, mixed-signal, and multi-layer PCBs for product development and prototyping projects.
• Utilize industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Altium Designer, PCAD, CAM350, or equivalent.
• Prepare schematic capture, component libraries, Gerber files, stack-ups, and DFM/DFT documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in mechanical, materials, and product design for system integration.
• Support setup and operation of PCB fabrication and testing equipment in the DRL lab.
• Develop and deliver training modules or workshops for students and professionals in PCB design and prototyping.
• Engage with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design quality and manufacturability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen) of design workflows and lab processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PCB design, fabrication, or electronics product development.
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFT, controlled impedance, and signal integrity principles.
• Proficiency in at least one major EDA/CAD tool (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Allegro).
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in establishing or managing PCB design or prototyping labs.
• Knowledge of RF or high-speed board design.
• Exposure to training or mentorship roles in design and fabrication.
• Familiarity with automation tools, macros, or workflow optimization is a plus.
