Salary: QAR 11,500 per month (full package)

Contract: 12-month extendable contract

Company Overview:
Our client, a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, is seeking a highly skilled PCS7 and Safety Systems Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in advanced DCS and SCADA systems, with strong expertise in PCS7 Safety Systems. This role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of industrial projects across Water, Wastewater, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Job Summary:
The PCS7 and Safety Systems Service Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning, and support of PCS7-based control systems and SIMATIC S7 Safety Systems. The role involves working closely with clients to ensure successful project delivery, from system design and programming to installation, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission PCS7, WinCC, and STEP 7 control systems.
• Design and program Fire & Gas systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
• Participate in the full software/system lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, installation, configuration, and documentation.
• Conduct installation, configuration, and testing at client sites.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure system requirements are met.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs from schematics and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot control loops and motor wiring effectively.
• Design network architectures for industrial systems.
• Select, configure, commission, and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Water and Oil & Gas industries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens DCS and SCADA systems design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with PCS7 Safety Systems.
• Strong client-facing skills; ability to work as part of a combined client/contractor team.
• In-depth knowledge of Water and Wastewater, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas processes.
• Willingness to travel and work offsite when required.
• Valid Qatar driving license.
