Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatric anesthesiologist who values a team-oriented work environment, and an organization deeply committed to its community. Our pediatric surgical service averages over 600 operative cases per year and provides care for a variety of pediatric cases including Dental, ENT, orthopedics, scoliosis, acute surgery, and neonatal emergencies. In addition to pediatric cases, our highly skilled physician group provides anesthesia coverage for a broad spectrum of surgical cases. This is a J-1 and H-1B sponsorship opportunity.

The starting salary is $620,000 with productivity, sign-on, and relocation bonuses. Our anesthesiologists work in an anesthesia care team model with CRNA medical direction. Anesthesiologists collaborate closely with our two pediatric surgeons, pediatric orthopedist and extensive pediatric support teams, including Inpatient Pediatrics, PICU, NICU, Peds GI, and Peds Cardiology to coordinate safe, high-quality care for our tiniest patients. The pediatric surgical service averages over 600 operative cases per year and provides care for a variety of pediatric cases. This opportunity offers a Monday-Friday work week with generous and flexible PTO options. Call includes a combination of 12-hr overnight shifts with post-call day off and back-up home pager call. No 24-hr call in-house call and an average of 1 in 6 in-house or pager call.
