Job Description:
Texas Children's Hospital is recruiting for Pediatric Anesthesiology faculty positions.
Texas Children's Hospital is the #1 ranked children's hospital in Texas and the Southwest by U.S. News and World Report for 2025-26, and a member of the National Honor Roll with all 6 ranked surgical subspecialties in the top 5 nationally, including #1 in Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery, Neurology/Neurosurgery, and Pulmonology/Lung Surgery. Texas Children's is the largest free-standing children's hospital system in the nation. The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine currently employs 110 Pediatric Anesthesiologists; many of whom have additional training and board certifications in Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric CV Anesthesia, or Pain Medicine. Providing more than 61,000 anesthetics annually in 83 anesthetizing locations, the demand for our growing service is on the rise. Recruitment efforts for additional Pediatric Anesthesiology physician faculty are underway. We are seeking talented, highly motivated individuals with ACGME Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training for our Houston Main Campus, and Community Hospitals in the Woodlands and Katy. Faculty are employed by Baylor College of Medicine, have an academic appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor, and report to the Anesthesiologist-in-Chief at TCH.
