Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on both general and specialized dentistry. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
  • Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance patient care efficiency.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; ability to work with children is essential.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and comfort during procedures.
  • Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and techniques is advantageous.

Pay: $195,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
