Smiles and Co. Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced pediatric dental assistant with a positive attitude to add to our growing team! We are a modern, doctor-owned dental practice in La Grange, IL focused on providing children and their families the highest quality of care in a fun environment.

We are looking for a someone to take a lead dental assistant role. This role will include additional responsibilities on top of coronal polishing for kids, taking x rays and assisting for procedures. Additional responsibilities include ordering supplies and equipment maintenance, being in charge of patient flow and downtime tasks, and maintaining our office GA schedule list. Coronal polishing certificate and at least 1 year of pediatric dental assisting experience is required. Pay is flexible based on experience/ and shown commitment to the practice. Looking for someone who can work 4-5 days per week. Ideally also available one Saturday a month from 8-1pm (no Saturdays in June/July) Please see our current office hours below (a huddle is done 30min prior to the first scheduled patients):

M/Thur/Fri 9am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-4pm, Wed 10am-6pm, Saturday 8am-1pm

Dental Assisting Duties include:

• Friendly engagement with patients and parents
• Assist with various pediatric dental procedures
• Taking dental radiographs
• Maintaining dental equipment and materials
• Maintaining operatories and sterilization
• Help manage inventory/ordering
• Assisting other staff as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
