Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and versatile People and Competence Coordinator to join our team, with a unique blend of responsibilities across Human Resources and Accounting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with both people and numbers. This position will be 50% People and Competence and 50% accounting related work.

Responsibilities

Human Resources:

· Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, support training documentation, offboarding, and benefits administration.

· Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

· Assist with recruitment, interview coordination, and new hire documentation.

· Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

· Oversee leave management including FMLA, LOA and assist with Disability claims.

· Facilitate Worker’s Compensation and injury tracking

Accounting:

· Process payroll and ensure accurate reporting of employee compensation.

· Process accounts payable/receivable data entry and reconciliation

· Support monthly and year-end financial reporting

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred

· 2+ years of experience in HR or accounting; experience in both is highly preferred.

· Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
