Job Title: People and Culture Lead

Department: People and Culture Department


Role Purpose:

The People & Culture Lead is responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with Al Bawani's values and enhances employee engagement. This role focuses on implementing initiatives that promote well-being, communication, and collaboration across the organization, ultimately driving a high-performance environment.


Job Accountabilities.

  • Implement engagement strategies that reflect Al Bawani’s core values and culture, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead key initiatives such as Great Place to Work (GPTW) assessments, cultural events, recognition programs, and employee gatherings, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
  • Conduct focus groups and feedback sessions to gather insights from employees on engagement initiatives.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with departments including HRBPs, Admin, HSSE, IT, and Corporate Marketing to ensure smooth execution of all P&C initiatives.
  • Execution of comprehensive well-being and mental health programs tailored to the diverse needs of employees, including workshops, seminars, and wellness challenges.
  • Manage the annual well-being calendar in collaboration with HSSE, Insurance, and external partners
  • Promote resources such as counseling services, stress management workshops, and fitness programs.
  • Evaluate the impact of well-being initiatives through regular assessments and employee feedback.
  • Support the development and delivery of strategic HR-related internal messages in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
  • Ensure alignment and visibility for campaigns, awareness days, and surveys by creating engaging communication materials.
  • Facilitate open forums and Q&A sessions to encourage two-way communication, allowing employees to voice their concerns and suggestions.
  • Monitor employee engagement with internal communications and adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the execution of company-wide surveys (e.g., GPTW, pulse surveys), collaborating with HR teams to ensure effective participation and response rates.
  • Analyze survey results comprehensively, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate post-survey action planning workshops to develop targeted strategies addressing the feedback received.
  • Track the implementation of action plans and measure their effectiveness, reporting progress to management.
  • Track engagement metrics, participation trends, and the impact of campaigns, utilizing data visualization tools to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to drive continuous improvement in employee engagement initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to inform People & Culture initiatives and strategies, recommending adjustments based on data-driven insights and trends.
  • Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance data collection methods and ensure the integrity and security of employee data.



Job Requirements.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR, employee engagement, or culture-related roles.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of well-being and mental health programs in the workplace.
  • Experience in conducting surveys and analyzing engagement data.

Familiarity with current trends in employee engagement and internal communications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in HR or employee engagement (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills for internal messaging and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to develop engaging content for internal communications.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms that enhance employee engagement.
  • Excellent project management skills for coordinating initiatives across departments.
