Position Overview:
The People & Culture Generalist plays a key role in supporting Wilson Connectivity's people-focused initiatives, with responsibilities divided between full-cycle recruiting and general HR operations. This position manages the end-to-end recruitment process-sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent-while also supporting broader People & Culture programs including employee engagement, communications, events, and HR administration.
This role works closely with hiring managers and reports directly to the Director of People & Culture as part of a collaborative three-person HR team. The position is based in St. George, UT and follows a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Recruiting & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment from job posting to onboarding across multiple departments and role types.
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create postings, and develop sourcing strategies.
Identify and engage candidates through social media, job boards, educational partnerships, and networking events.
Conduct interviews, extend offers, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
Maintain applicant tracking system (ApplicantPro preferred) and recruitment analytics via Power BI.
Represent Wilson Connectivity as a brand ambassador in all candidate interactions and community outreach.
HR Generalist & Employee Engagement
Serve as a liaison between People & Culture and employees to support communication, engagement, and policy understanding.
Coordinate company events, recognition programs, and employee committees to strengthen workplace culture.
Support employee lifecycle processes including new hire onboarding, personnel record maintenance, and policy communication.
Create and distribute HR materials including internal newsletters, event flyers, and engagement campaigns (basic graphic design skills in Canva a plus).
Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and reporting initiatives.
Manage employee swag and store inventory.
Proven experience in recruiting or HR generalist roles with measurable results.
Familiarity with ATS systems (ApplicantPro preferred) and sourcing tools.
Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic graphic design or marketing skills for internal communications preferred.
SHRM Certification (preferred but not required).
Experience in technical or manufacturing recruiting.
Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft 365.
Spanish fluency preferred.
