Position
: People & Culture Manager

Primary Function:
The People & Culture Manager will lead ASD's human resources operations with a focus on building internal capacity, optimizing HRIS systems, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. This role will support strategic goals across revenue, training, communication, and housing stability while maximizing limited administrative resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage Paycom systems for performance tracking, and compliance.
  • Coach managers to enforce performance standards and accountability.
  • Develop internal training programs to build leadership and team capacity.
  • Align HR strategies with ASD’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and nonprofit regulations.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, equity, and emotional safety.
  • Participate in Quality Management Committee and agency-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit.
  • Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational development skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating Systems) preferred.

Additional Experience:

  • Microsoft Office Suite:5 years
  • AI (Preferred experience using tools of automation)
  • Organizational Change

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

HRCI or SHRM Certification:

  • Preferred

Ability to Commute:

  • Dallas, TX 75208

Work Location: In person

Plan for Continued Training

The incumbent of this position will participate in all agency sponsored training and development programs relating to grant writing and fund-raising need. The HR Manager will continue department education to maintain compliance with ongoing changes and updates both state and federal.

Quality Management Committee

All ASD Employees are required to participate and serve on the QMC Quality Management Committee.



Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000
Bonus Potential: Up to $7,000 annual incentive based on quarterly goal achievement.
