People Specialist

As a People Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the overall HR operations and people-related activities of the BESTSELLER office in Lahore, as well as liaising with the Bangladesh office for coordination and alignment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support HR activities across Pakistan office and align with Bangladesh
• Execute day-to-day HR operations and maintain accurate employee records in SAP and Besthuman.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and handle exit procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Assist in managing HR costs, salary structures, and budget tracking.
• Support employee relations and help resolve workplace issues effectively.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviews, and onboarding processes.
• Support performance appraisal, reward, and recognition activities.
• Partner with the global PEOPLE team to align HR initiatives across countries.
• Facilitate training needs assessment and organize learning sessions.
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Conduct exit interviews and share insights to support talent retentio

  
  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, employee relations, talent management, or organizational development (experience in corporate or liaison office settings is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., SAP, HRIS), MS Office, and local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a focus on accuracy in HR processes.
  • Ability to build positive employee relations, handle sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills for effective interaction with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
