Per Diem Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in OH. Our focus is on providing high-quality care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and assisted-living facilities mainly with elderly patients.

Position Details:

• Part-time role: 2-4 shifts per month
• Paid per diem
• Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results.
• Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Assist in the management of patients in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
• Stay current with advancements in medical practices and technologies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds current certification and licensure as a NP/PA in OH.
• Experience in post-acute care or skilled nursing facilities (preferred but not required)
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring.
• Experience in Geriatrics (preferred)
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
