Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day- to-day operations
-
Follows the day-to-day operations related to the Performance Insight Senior Analyst role and oversees the activities of Performance Insight Analysts.
-
Liaises on a regular basis with the other CoE workstreams, external parties and Planning and Control Dept. members to identify if any improvements or additions needs to be applied to any of the existing reports or dashboards.
BI Analysis & Reporting
-
Develops and automates the production and publication of business unit’s standards and approved reports and ensure alignment with the information management, reporting concepts and techniques
-
Collaborates with the Planning and Control Dept. team and with if to involved external teams to identify ways of gathering the required data for reporting purposes and generate insightful reports and dashboards to reflect the performance of the agreed KPIs/metrics.

Supervises and supports the creation of ad-hoc reports by providing guidance on requested information, defining the reporting requirements, and specifying areas of improvement for the reporting metrics.

Ensures the end business goals are taken into consideration when new regular and ad-hoc reports are generated.
Advanced Analytics & Data Mining

Develops and maintains Data mining models and EDW Marts
-
Conducts the needed statistical analysis for the business units to ensure that the strategy requirements are defined and supported
BI Architect & Information Governance
-
Maintains the EDW, data mart architecture, design, and data model to provide the best possible support for all BIM and the business units

Documents and publishes information about EDW and its associated Data marts structure and data model
-
Identifies resolution of data quality issues such as uniqueness, integrity and completeness in a cost-effective manner and ensures the applications adhere to defined data management practices, policies, and procedures

Utilizes data profiling and quality tools, to uncover and determine root causes of data quality issues
Change & Project Management
-
Learns and applies project management procedures and best practices to efficiently supervise Performance Insight Analysts.

Supports all internal BIM on new projects to ensure they are implemented in an effective and timely manner
-
Monitors BIM processes to ensure that IT are informed and alignment with the SLAs
-
Documents and tracks business requirement received by the BIM to ensure that prompt actions and solutions are recommended
-
Ensures the completion of business requirements and proper documentation and publication of results
Communication & Transfer of Knowledge

Guides the Performance Insight Analysts in completing the required tasks and activities
-
Supports the Performance Insight Analysts with any issues or blockers that arise in their day-to-day activities.

Acts as a mentor and coach to the Performance Insight Analysts ensuring that regular knowledge transfer sessions are held.

Works with business unit representatives to understand their strategy, requirements and obtain an understanding of the business’ objectives to identify business unit standard and approved list of reports

Collaborates with IT to ensure that they are updated with all the changes in the business requirements, data, and systems
-
Collaborates on the BIM defined processes to capture, document, publish and communicate BI reporting in line with best practices
Continuous Improvement

Continuously looks for improvement areas in reporting procedures, data acquisition processes and report showcasing and ensures that initiatives are taken to implement such changes.

. Qualifications & Experience:Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science of Information Technology.
Minimum Experience:
-
4-6
years
relevant experience in the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Warehousing environments in a financial institution.
-
Prior
Financial
Services experience.
Language:
