Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing and Account Handler is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately support marketing and business goals. This role requires a blend of creative and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy and Planning:

· Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy, aligning it with overall marketing and business objectives.

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

· Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and set specific objectives for social media campaigns (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, website traffic).

· Create and manage editorial calendars and content syndication schedules.

2. Content Creation and Curation:

· Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging daily content, including original text, images, videos, and HTML, that builds meaningful connections and encourages community interaction.

· Adapt content to suit different platforms and target audiences (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).

· Oversee the design of social media accounts, including profile pictures, cover images, and blog layouts.

· Stay up-to-date with new content creation tools and techniques.

3. Account Handling and Community Management:

· Manage the day-to-day operations of all social media channels.

· Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive online community.

· Engage in relevant social discussions about the company, its competitors, and the industry.

· Moderate user-generated content and manage online reputation.

4. Paid Social Media and Campaigns:

· Develop, launch, and manage new promotions, competitions, and advertising campaigns.

· Create and optimize paid social media campaigns on various platforms.

· Manage and track budgets for social media activities, ensuring a solid return on investment (ROI).

5. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

· Continuously capture, track, and analyze appropriate social data and metrics (e.g., engagement rates, click-through rates, follower growth).

· Use social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Audience Insights) to measure the success of campaigns.

· Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

· Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, customer service) to ensure brand consistency and coordinate actions.

· Liaise with clients (in an agency setting) or internal teams to understand their needs and deliver on expectations.

· Build and maintain key relationships with influencers and industry professionals.

Skills and Qualifications

· Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Specialist, or a similar role.

· In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.

· Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

· Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).

· Creative thinking skills for developing new and innovative ideas.

· Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

· Familiarity with online marketing, SEO, and web traffic metrics.

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is often preferred.
