As the Paid Ads Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing paid media strategy to drive growth for both the agency’s clients and the company’s internal brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor and optimise paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct audience research, segmentation, targeting strategies (including lookalikes, retargeting/remarketing) to maximise conversion and ROI.
- Coordinate with creative/design/content teams to produce effective ad creatives, landing pages, ad copy, and test variations.
- Manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, ROAS metrics, CPA, CPL, and other key performance indicators.
- Set up and manage conversion tracking: pixels, UTM tagging, analytics dashboards, attribution modelling.
- Analyse campaign performance, produce detailed reports and actionable insights; recommend strategy revisions and optimisations.
- Conduct A/B tests (creative, copy, audience, landing page) to continually improve performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform algorithm changes, new ad-formats and recommend adoption.
- Work closely with client teams (if agency side) or internal brand teams to align paid media efforts with business objectives, sales funnels, and broader marketing strategy.
- Occasionally support client pitches and strategic planning for new business or internal campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager (and preferably LinkedIn, YouTube, Display networks).
- Experience in setting up conversion tracking, analysing data, and optimising campaigns based on metrics like CPA, ROAS, LTV.
- Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, dashboards (Google Analytics, Data Studio, etc).
- Solid copywriting and creative briefing ability; collaboration mindset.
- Good communication skills — able to articulate campaign strategy, results and recommendations to stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude, self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple campaigns and clients.
Preferred:
- Certification(s) such as Google Ads Certification, Meta Blueprint.
- Experience in an agency environment or handling multiple clients across industries.
- Familiarity with landing-page optimisation, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) principles, A/B testing tools (e.g., Unbounce, Hotjar).
- Exposure to cross-channel marketing (organic + paid), basic SEO understanding.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM integration.
- Experience working in a digital marketing agency in India
