Performance Test Lead for Banking Project

Overview: Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle from requirement gathering to final reporting.
• Define performance test strategy, workload models, and execution plans aligned with business SLAs.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable performance test scripts and function libraries using JMeter.
• Execute and monitor load, stress, soak, endurance, and WAN simulation tests.
• Debug, optimize, and fine-tune performance scripts and workloads.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable performance tuning recommendations.
• Publish detailed performance test findings and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

Essential skills:

• Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter, successfully delivering 10+ performance testing engagements.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in multiple protocols including HTTP/S, REST, SOAP, WebSockets, ISO8583, and TCP.
• Good understanding of Cards & Payments domain, Switch Testing, and POS/ATM Testing.
• Expertise in tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, and other monitoring/profiling solutions.
• Strong skills in SQL queries and Excel for data validation and reporting.
• Knowledge of Java and Groovy for scripting enhancements (advantageous)
