Perfumer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Perfumer to design and develop unique fragrances for use in perfumes. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of fragrance chemistry, excellent sensory skills, and a passion for olfactory artistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and evaluate original fragrance compositions for various applications.
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand fragrance briefs and translate them into scent creations.
• Select raw materials and blend ingredients to achieve desired olfactory profiles.
• Conduct olfactory evaluations (smelling sessions) to refine and improve fragrance performance.
• Stay informed about market trends, new ingredients, and consumer preferences.
• Ensure fragrances meet safety, regulatory, and stability standards across different product bases.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, modifications, and performance evaluations.
• Work with analytical and application teams to assess stability, compatibility, and longevity of fragrances.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a perfumer, ideally with formal training.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance materials (natural and synthetic) and blending techniques.
• Familiarity with fragrance industry regulations (IFRA, REACH, etc.).
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work location: Sharjah
• Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in fine fragrance, personal care, or home care sectors.
• Knowledge of market-specific preferences and global fragrance trends.
