The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental practice's operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks such as making impressions or pouring models.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures as needed.

Skills

• Familiarity with medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
• Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
