Dental Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing periodontal specialty practice in downtown Chicago. Our office focuses on advanced periodontal and implant care, providing patients with a calm, modern, and personalized experience.

About the Role

As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll assist during periodontal and implant procedures, support patient care, and help maintain a smooth daily flow. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn the details of specialty care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans (training provided if needed)
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
• Support daily office setup, cleanup, and inventory management

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification (CDA or equivalent) preferred
• Prior experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a professional chairside manner
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work efficiently in a small, team-oriented environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
