Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Services Clinical Manager (RN) to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional patient care in the Operating Room (OR). This role is ideal for a highly motivated people-focused leader with strong clinical knowledge and a growth mindset.

The Clinical Manager will provide leadership to OR nursing staff, support surgeons and anesthesia providers, and coordinate perioperative services to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. The role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment while balancing clinical and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to perioperative nursing staff.
• Manage daily OR operations, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Monitor and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supply readiness.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of OR staff.
• Assist in developing and monitoring departmental budgets and performance goals.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that prioritizes patient-centered care.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current RN License in Illinois.
• Minimum 5–7 years of perioperative/OR nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of stability at each hospital of employment (travel or contract nurses will not be considered).

Preferred:

• Prior leadership or management experience in the OR.
• BSN or MSN degree.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a complex surgical setting.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Full-time, on-site position
