Perishables Buyer/Stocker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Perishables Buyer/Stocker to join our vibrant retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing perishable goods. Your expertise will ensure that our shelves are stocked with high-quality products while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Duties

• Managing refrigerated and frozen inventory with care and accuracy
• Maintaining organized back-stock areas (cooler and freezer) to ensure efficient operations
• Handling multiple tasks with attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service
• Monitor product freshness, quality standards, and expiration dates through regular stock checks and inspections.
• Support merchandising efforts by aligning product assortment with customer preferences and seasonal trends while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Understanding of perishables handling procedures including temperature control, freshness standards, and expiration monitoring.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.

• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Prior experience in a retail setting is preferred. Schedule is anticipated to be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday day shifts, but some flexibility is required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
