ABOUT THIS POSITION

Open Door Mission's PSH building offers a stable environment for families and singles needing an affordable, supportive, sober-living community. The PSH Manager functions as both a landlord and case manager for residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A full job description will be provided for review during the interview process.

Act as landlord for building residents, ensuring that intakes and exits are properly completed, and enforcing all building rules.
Ensure that all building maintenance requests are properly submitted, and the building is kept clean & fully stocked.
Provide case management on at least a monthly basis for each PSH tenant, connecting them to resources and setting appropriate goals.
Build & maintain relationships with outside individuals and agencies.
Organize events for building residents, including Bible studies, house meetings, prayer meetings, and other special events.
Provide spiritual support for all tenants, sharing the gospel as opportunities arise.
Oversee two resident building managers in completion of their duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in case management in a human services environment.
A solid, visible relationships with Christ, and ability/desire to share the gospel.
Demonstrated ability to work with people in crisis (eg. mental health issues, domestic violence victims, addiction recovery, generational poverty, homelessness).

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE...

Bachelor's of Social Work
Experience in property management and working with tenants.
Good discernment in working with people and ability to hold others accountable.

DETAILS

Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $42,000 - $58,000
Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
Schedule: Base schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Some evenings and weekends as needed for tenant situations and events.
Work Location: Omaha Campus, Permanent Supportive Housing Building
