Permit Clerk
20yr old Sanford, Florida Generator company is seeking a Permit Clerk / Office Administrator to support the installation of home standby generators. This is a full-time, office-based role, and no generator experience or knowledge is required. Typical work hours are 8:00-4:30, Monday through Friday, at our Sanford location.
The Permit Clerk is responsible for applying for permits with the local municipalities, Notice of Commencement documentation and filing, as well as closing permits upon completion. This is office-based role, with no travel requirement. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Desired skills and experience include the following, with training available for well qualified candidates:
Training on permitting, scheduling, and other specialized software and tools will be provided. You must have a working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools, including Word, Outlook (email), Chrome/Edge, and basic Excel.

Occasional overtime may be required (less than 10%).
