Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Permitting Office Senior Manager, to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of managers, specialists and coordinators to carry out internal workflow activities for permitting and approval requirements for projects of Qiddiya. You'll connect with dozens of key leaders across the organization to build and manage the business processes that connect projects and asset development activities with external engagement agreements and requirements. Supports project organizational and administrative activities as required by the Director, and other Senior Managers in this integrated, fast paced team. These internal workflow activities can include coordination with Business Unit Executives, Central Development Unit Executive Directors, Project Managers, Permitting Managers, Stakeholder Management Specialists, document controllers, data analysts. You will drive process enhancements and adoption of the systems and policies to achieve reliable, consistent, organized permitting activities. As a Senior Manager, you'll also provide feedback to the team for strategic initiatives and multi-year planning.
What You'll Be Doing:
Build and lead a team of Managers, Specialists and Coordinators to deliver stable and reliable Internal Workflows within the Qiddiya Permitting Office for all active projects at Qiddiya.
Onboarding, orientation, networking, mentoring are key skills to help this new team build momentum under your management.
As key issues are escalated, you may also liaise directly with internal organizations like the Central Development Unit, Strategic Delivery Unit, procurement, legal, strategy and others.
Review and approval of reports, manuals and guideline documents pertaining to specific issues as required by the client.
Liaise with Consultants and Contractors and provide comments where applicable. This include on-site visits to Qiddiya site offices from time-to-time.
Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary for all types of projects, keep track and record all required actions and follow up on the progress as required.
Provide input to weekly / monthly reports.
Ensure the timely review of all documents submitted by the Consultant and/or Contractor.
Plan and forecast the work for the team, Prioritize tasks, and Check and Measure the performed work in his/her line of work, record and help the Team Leader to display progress vs programmed work.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS degree, with minimum 7 years relevant experience with extensive client interfaces and authorizing bodies.
Knowledge of engineering, construction, and management techniques in the Riyadh area for major program.
Knowledgeable of current industry and technical development.
English and Arabic fluency.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Proven leadership and management capability, as well as good written and oral communications skills.
Familiarity with proven, reliable solutions to streamline permitting activities in KSA, specifically the Riyadh Region.
