McCON's Support Center team manages commercial construction projects across the continental US. We are a family-owned company known for our experience in commercial construction, our service to our clients, and our performance, both in the field and administratively. We are seeking a full-time Permitting Specialist to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:

Research permit requirements for new projects based on jurisdiction and project scope.

Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.

Track and follow up on permit applications to ensure timely approval to avoid project delays.

Serve as the primary point of contact with city departments.

Coordinate revisions to permit sets as needed with architects or engineers.

Ensure timely submission and accuracy of engineering deliverables for permit and construction needs.

Maintain organized records of permits, correspondence, reports, and applications.

Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders regarding permitting progress and potential impacts on timelines.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree in Business Management or equivalent.

Work experience in construction permitting is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
