Personal Assistant

Job Summary
We are looking for a fun and organized Office Assistant to join our team! HR and experience in the event planning, transportation or hospitality field is key.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for the Owner, manage administrative tasks and support daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient environment. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of personnel management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise in a fun, local and laid back setting.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to owner and manage all tasks for business and personal
  • Manage incoming phone calls and professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Handle data entry tasks accurately using computer skills, including CRMs and Google Workspace applications
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
  • Support calendar management and scheduling for team members or executives, coordinating meetings efficiently
  • Perform clerical duties such as proofreading correspondence, preparing reports and managing incoming/outgoing mail
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software to support office financial processes
  • Provide general office management support, including ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment and overseeing operations

Qualifications

  • Proven office or clerical experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
  • Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing and providing customer support
  • Must be fun and comfortable in a high energy environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Experience with data entry, filing systems, proofreading documents, and general administrative duties
  • Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management and basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks preferred)
  • Prior experience as a personal assistant is a plus; familiarity with transportation industry is huge!

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
