Personal Assistant

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job description:

We have multiple positions available and in different areas. You are able to take multiple clients as well.

- Diamond Bar (2-3 Shift 3-4 hours after school) -looking for Female companion/caregiver with Big sister and friend for Teen girl.

- Buena Park ( Active Boy, High Functioning) - must be able to drive: Mid day to Afternoon Shift for Rides ( 2 shift a week )

- Anaheim ( Active Boy, Non verbal child - 2 Evening shift/ Weekly , Male and ABA background Preferred-must be able to drive )

- Fountain Valley ( Female Young Adult- Sweet and Friendly , Female companion/caregiver with Big sister and friend - must be able to drive ) 2-3 days 5-6 hours morning shift/ Weekly

All Clients receives funding from the Orange County Regional Center to meet their needs and for this service and staff. They are part of the Self Determination Program, which is why family can select their own staff. Specifically, you will be hired by a Financial Management Service (FMS)- each client has different agency, as a W-2 employee paid hourly at a rate between $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and position requirement. You must be able to pass a background check (LiveScan) for this position.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide constant, attentive supervision to ensure client’s safety
• Safely drive and transport to classes, therapies, and activities when requested
• Engage in active play, especially outdoors
• Use physical redirection when necessary (e.g., holding his hand and guiding )
• Assist with hygiene routines, including:
• Bathroom reminders
• Handwashing
• Adjusting clothing as needed
• Remain calm and patient during challenging behaviors, such as crying
• Encourage structure while introducing fun, enriching activities

Ideal Candidate

Someone who:

• Is fully vaccinated
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
• Is energetic, attentive, and hands-on (this is not a passive or phone-focused role)
• Is patient, kind, and emotionally steady
• Is reliable and punctual
• Is comfortable providing gentle physical guidance and redirection
• Has experience with autism or special needs

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
