Personal Assistant Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities.

Monday to Sunday 9am to 1pm

The client is a 80 year old man who needs help with ADLS.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Medication Reminder
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in health status
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients

Requirements

• Proven experience in home & community care settings, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred or required upon hire
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings
